You can wander round the conservation area of Littleborough with its many lovely buildings; there are lots of shops to visit and places you can stop and have a bite to eat.
If walking is what you enjoy, there is a beautiful walk to Blackstone Edge, where you can take in the fabulous scenery and views. Hollingworth Lake is also accessible from here, about a 20 minute walk from Littleborough Train Station.
