Smithy Bridge Railway Station serves the village of Smithy Bridge and Hollingworth Lake. There is a beautiful canal walk just outside of the station that takes you in the direction of either Littleborough or Rochdale with some gorgeous views along the way.
The station is a ten minute walk to the beautiful Hollingworth Lake Country Park. This much-loved beauty spot offers a wide range of facilities for all ages, making it the ideal place for everyone to enjoy the great outdoors.
