Calder Valley Community Rail Partnership met at Mytholmroyd Station

As part of Community Rail week the Calder Valley Community Rail Partnership along with rail colleagues met at Mytholmroyd Station for a tour of the old station building. Unfortunately the tour was limited due to a burst water pipe but we still managed to see and appreciate all the hard work that had gone into renovating this Grade 2 listed building. The building had been derelict for over 30 years but the friends of Mytholmroyd station have been trying to get it reopened as a community space and waiting rooms.

The day continued with a walk that we have identified in our attractions and walks leaflet between Mytholmroyd and Hebden Bridge.  The weather was kind and we had a fabulous day.
