Town of Culture Posters Arrive at Our Stations!
As part of the exciting Rochdale – Greater Manchester’s Town of Culture 2025–26 celebrations, we’ve been busy brightening up our local stations along the Calder Valley Line with a fresh new look!
This month, we installed vibrant new posters at several stations, proudly showcasing Rochdale’s status as the region’s Town of Culture. These eye-catching displays are not just about adding colour to the platform—they’re an invitation to discover everything Rochdale has to offer over the next year.
From live music and theatre performances to art exhibitions, community projects, and family-friendly events, Rochdale’s cultural calendar is bursting with opportunities to explore, connect, and celebrate creativity in all its forms.
Whether you’re a local resident or visiting from further afield, why not make your next train journey part of a cultural adventure? Hop off at your local station and head into town to see what’s on.

Big thanks to our community partners and station adopters for helping us bring this campaign to life—together, we’re putting Rochdale on the map in more ways than one!
