Spooky Fun in Brighouse
Brighouse is bursting with spooky surprises this half term as families are invited to take part in the Monster Halloween Trail – a fang-tastic activity that brings local businesses and the community together in celebration of the season.
Sponsored by the Calder Valley Line Community Rail Partnership, the Halloween Trail invites children (and brave grown-ups!) to explore the town centre and spot monsters hiding in shop windows. With creepy creatures peeking out from behind displays, it’s the perfect chance to get into the Halloween spirit while enjoying everything Brighouse has to offer.
Trail maps are available online at visitbrighouse.co.uk/halloween and from participating shops – making it easy for families to join the fun.
But the adventure doesn’t stop there! While you’re hunting for monsters, why not:
Pop into one of the town’s brilliant independent shops
Enjoy some treats at the cosy cafés and bakeries
Or warm up with a meal at a local restaurant or pub
This seasonal event is more than just entertainment – it’s a great way to support local businesses and encourage sustainable travel. Brighouse Station is just a short walk from the town centre, making it easy to arrive by train and start your spooky adventure right away.
